Piano, Voice, Music Tutor for Regular and Special Needs Students -- A Tutor who prepares Interesting and enjoyable lessons, with tutor research and hard work, and is always patient. My teaching certificate and teaching experience have enabled me to contribute a researched approach and enthusiasm to individual lessons and leading singing groups. Besides regular piano lessons, elementary and high school, I taught piano to students with brain damage, autism, and Asperger's Syndrome. I led holiday singing for elementary school groups, with as many as 100 students. While teaching special education inclusion high school I took part in the teacher/student off-stage choir. For this practice and performance I changed my singing range from 1st soprano to bass to sing with the initially struggling bass section. Auditioning for the high school teacher/student talent show, I was asked to play my piano medley of Chopin and Mozart to begin the performance. I am a patient music teacher who works hard to find enjoyable, free sheet music with my teacher subscriptions. I am a certified Illinois K to 9 teacher, endorsed in special education, computers, social studies, and language arts. In addition to elementary teaching for regular, special, and computer education, I taught high school inclusion special education in algebra I, algebra II, earth/space science, environmental science, English I, and English IV, also special education departmental social studies. I enjoy spending serious time researching and planning individualized academic and music tutoring lessons.
