SkoMor SC is a nonprofit competitive traveling soccer club that serves Skokie, Morton Grove, Lincolnwood and Surrounding Communities. We are the official feeder program for Niles Township High School District 219, Niles North H.S. and Niles West H.S. The club is comprised of boys' and girls' traveling teams from a Development Academy (U-8) and Traditional Teams for the Under 9 through the Under 19 age divisions. We also operate several Adult Teams, playing in the Skokie Park District Outdoor League and Indoor League. Our home field is at Niles North High School in Skokie, although some home games may be played at other Skokie or Morton Grove locations. SkoMor SC belongs to the Young Sportsmen's Soccer League (YSSL) and the Illinois Women's Soccer League (IWSL), which are members of the Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA). All young athletes interested in improving their soccer skills and increasing their understanding of the game in a fun and competitive atmosphere are urged to contact SkoMor SC for more information. Mission To Promote and support competitive soccer among the youth of Skokie, Morton Grove and surrounding communities To assist young people in the development and improvement of individual soccer skills To improve and enhance a player’s physical conditioning To learn appropriate standards of behavior on and off the filed, thus promoting good sportsmanship To develop skilled players who are prepared to play for the area’s high schools The philosophy of SkoMor SC is to form a united support group to include players, coaches, parents and the community to promote high standards of soccer and sportsmanship within SkoMor SC and surrounding communities. Unless otherwise approved by the Executive Board, each U-14 and younger team shall have at least 2/3 of its players form the communities of Morton Grove and Skokie, District 219 and District 207 (Maine East High School).
